Large construction and infrastructure projects need masons, carpenters, steel fixers, electricians, plumbers, welders, heavy equipment operators and drivers, along with technicians and helpers.

Steps to a job in Saudi Arabia

1. Prepare your documents: passport, experience letters, trade certificates and photographs.
2. Apply only through an MEA-licensed agency: verify the RA licence number on emigrate.gov.in.
3. Interview or trade test: after selection you receive an offer letter that states salary, duty hours, food, accommodation and ticket terms.
4. Wafid (GAMCA) medical: book through the Wafid portal and take the test only at an approved medical centre in India.
5. Skill verification: Saudi Arabia requires a skill verification test for many technical trades (for example electrician, plumber or welder). The agency will tell you in writing if your trade needs it.
6. Visa stamping: the agency submits your documents for visa stamping through the Saudi embassy's authorised visa centre.
7. Clearance in India: for ECR passports, eMigrate POE clearance and PBBY insurance are required.
8. After arrival: your employer arranges your Iqama (residence permit). Keep a copy of your contract.

How much does it cost?

A licensed agency may charge a candidate a service charge of at most ₹30,000 (plus GST) under India's emigration rules, and must issue a receipt. Every Krewex job page states the candidate fee for that vacancy.
