हिंदी में पढ़ेंHow a legal Kuwait job works: licensed agency, PAM work permit, Wafid medical in India, visa, eMigrate clearance, and Civil ID after arrival.
Which jobs are in demand in Kuwait?
Kitchen and restaurant staff, cleaners, drivers, carpenters, masons, electricians, technicians and helpers for construction and services companies.
Steps to a job in Kuwait
- Apply only through an MEA-licensed agency: verify its RA licence on emigrate.gov.in.
- Interview or trade test: after selection, get an offer letter that states salary, duty hours, food, accommodation and ticket terms.
- Work permit: the Kuwaiti employer obtains your work permit from the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM).
- Wafid (GAMCA) medical: take the medical in India only at an approved centre.
- Visa: the agency completes the employment visa process with the employer.
- Clearance in India: for ECR passports, eMigrate POE clearance and PBBY insurance are required.
- After arrival: a medical test and fingerprints in Kuwait, then your Civil ID card.
How much does it cost?
A licensed agency may charge at most ₹30,000 (plus GST) under India's emigration rules, with a receipt. Every Krewex job page states the candidate fee.
Mistakes to avoid
- Never travel on a visit visa to look for work.
- Never hand over your passport as security or pay cash without a receipt.
- Keep copies of your offer letter, contract and visa with your family.
