How to Get a Job in Bahrain from India: LMRA Work Permit, Medical & CPR
हिंदी में पढ़ेंHow a legal Bahrain job works: licensed agency, LMRA work permit, Wafid medical in India, eMigrate clearance and your CPR identity card after arrival.
Which jobs are in demand in Bahrain?
Cleaners, drivers, electricians, plumbers, technicians, kitchen staff and helpers for construction, facility management and services companies.
Steps to a job in Bahrain
- Apply only through an MEA-licensed agency: verify its RA licence on emigrate.gov.in.
- Interview or trade test: after selection, get an offer letter that states salary, duty hours, food, accommodation and ticket terms.
- Work permit: the Bahraini employer obtains your work permit from the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
- Wafid (GAMCA) medical: take the medical in India only at an approved centre.
- Clearance in India: for ECR passports, eMigrate POE clearance and PBBY insurance are required.
- After arrival: a medical test in Bahrain, then your CPR identity card.
How much does it cost?
A licensed agency may charge at most ₹30,000 (plus GST) under India's emigration rules, with a receipt. Every Krewex job page states the candidate fee.
Mistakes to avoid
- Never travel on a visit visa to look for work.
- Never accept a "free visa" offer: in Bahrain you may only work for the employer named on your LMRA permit.
- Never pay cash without a receipt, and never hand over your passport as security.
